While binge watching Spartacus, I was constantly motivated to work out. The only other television shows or movies to ever promote the immediate need to exercise were Rocky 4, Fight Club, and 300, no explanation needed right?
I decided to do some research on how the actors in Spartacus trained in order to accomplish their Gladiator like physiques, what I discovered was a workout designed for actor Manu Bennett who played the role of Crixus.
The Crixus workout consists of 5 Trisets designed to hit multiple muscle groups combined with cardio. Trisets are three different exercises performed one after another without any rest in between, one triset alone can be a total-body workout in itself.
After completing the Crixus work out I can definitely say that this workout is intense and amazing at the same time, it was definitely challenging, if you are looking to develop strength, stamina, and muscle endurance while completely shredding your body look no further, my only word of advice would be to use medium weight on the Deadlifts, 4 sets of 20 reps is a lot and your legs will express their frustration the following two days , other than that enjoy. - Arenn Evans

Warm Up: Treadmill 5 minute Jog, Five -30 second sprints with 30 seconds walking rest, 2 minute Jog

Pull-ups 15 reps
Push-ups with 45 Plate on the back 15 reps
Jump Squats 20 reps
Triset #2
Deadlifts 20 reps
Chin-ups 10 reps
Walking Lunges 20 reps (10 per Leg)
Triset #3
Wide Grip Cable row 20 reps
Medicine Ball Mountain Climbers 40 reps
Standing Sprint (30 seconds Cardio) (knees high, arms moving fast)
Triset #4
Dips on Bench 12 reps
Bicep Curls 12 reps
Clap Push-ups 10 reps

Crunches 30
Lying Leg Raises 15
